The European Basketball Championship of 2013, commonly known as Eurobasket 2013, will be the 38th edition of the championship organised by FIBA Europe.

Six countries have expressed interest in hosting the event: Germany, Greece, Italy, Turkey, Croatia and Slovenia. The last two might present a joint candidature[1] The number of participating teams will be increased from 16 to 24.[2]
