That fall, he moved indoors with the St. Louis Steamers of the Major Indoor Soccer League. He played two full seasons with the Steamers, then began the 1981–1982 season in St. Louis before being traded to the Kansas City Comets. In the summer of 1980, he played for the Golden Gate Gales of the ASL and finished his career with the Los Angeles Lazers during the 1982–1983 MISL season.
