A '''[[fish bowl|fishbowl]]''' is a container for fish. They are typically round or rectangular, but could be any shape. Fishbowls have colored rocks on the bottom for multiple reasons including helping the fish orient themselves, and showing chemical levels in the water through color changes in the rocks. It is also helpful to add small plants to the fishbowl to keep the scenery similar to the fish's natural habitat. The size of the fishbowl is dependent on the type of fish living in it, for example a beta fish (most common pet store fish) would not require any more than one gallon of water. The larger the fishbowl, the more likely it will be rectangular due to storage problems.
