"Forever"
Song

"Forever" is a song recorded by Dutch DJ Martin Garrix and Russian DJs Matisse & Sadko. It was released on 20 October 2017.[2]. It's the 4th collaboration between Martin Garrix and Matisse & Sadko, after "Dragon", "Break Through The Silence", and "Together"[3].

Background

Members of EDM Reviewer say that "Forever" is "a progressive tune" which combined "Matisse & Sadko calm style with Martin Garrix style"[4]. In the intro there is an "orchestral church organ" who aboves "a strong melody, catchy and solid"[4]. Melissa May from One EDM says that there are "organ chords with melancholy guitar licks that recall sorrowful '80s pop-rock"[5].

The official music video of the song was released at the same day through Martin Garrix's YouTube channel. It was directed and written by Damian Karsznia[6] and shot in the Scotland[5]. The production assistants were Joris Hoevenberg and Mees Roozen. The biker in the video is Sjak van Hoof[5].
