Global Frequency is Warren Ellis's exploration of "Rescue Fiction." They are an active smartmob consisting of 1001 people who respond to global emergencies and phenomena ranging from Heaven's Gate-esque cults to rogue military operations. They are lead by a woman acting under the psuedonym Miranda Zero, and dispatched/coordinated by a former student named Aleph.

Each issue is self-contained, meaning they can be read in any order. Currently there are 13 issues, with a possible 'second season' yet to come.
