The goal of Challenge Day is to demonstrate to students the possibility of love and connection through the celebration of diversity, truth, and full expression.<ref name="Challenge Day"/> The show focused a handful of juveniles who participated on Challenge Day in various high schools. The series premiered on July 20, 2010 on MTV and ran for one season before MTV decided not to renew it.
