KTBS-TV is an ABC affiliate owned locally by the Wray family and is nested in Northwest Louisiana. The station began broadcasting on channel 3 on September 3, 1955.
As of 2005 had the largest news staff in the Ark-La-Tex area, with newsrooms in three states: Shreveport, Louisiana; Texarkana, Arkansas and Marshall, Texas.
