Karl Rapp (* 24 September 1882 in Ehingen (Danube); "† 26. May 1962 in Locarno) was founder and owner of the Rapp Motorenwerke.

After the union of the Rapp Motorenwerke with the Gustav petrol flight engine works to the Bavarian aircraft engine works, a forerunner of the Bavarian engines of works, Karl Rapp left the enterprise. Afterwards it operated among other things with Augusts Piccard it had it in Locarno a private observatory.
