This is a list of notable districts and neighborhoods within the city of Los Angeles in the U.S. state of California, present and past. It includes residential and commercial industrial areas, historic preservation zones, and business-improvement districts, but does not include sales subdivisions, tract names, homeowners associations, and informal names for areas.
