SM Al Mamun is a Bangladeshi politician and a former Jatiya Sangsad member representing the Chittagong-4 constituency.[1]

Personal life

Mamun is the son of former Jatiya Sangsad member ABM Abul Kashem representing the same constituency.[citation needed]

Political career

In his political career, he was elected as Sitakunda Upazila Chairman in 2019 upazila elections and served for 5 years. In the 2024 Bangladeshi general elections, he was elected as a member of parliament after receiving the nomination of Awami League for the first time. He served as a Member of Parliament as well as a Member of the Parliamentary Committee of the Ministry of Labour and Employment.[citation needed]
