CB currently doesn't stand for anything. However, it's origin does come from the founders of the old company Coldwell Banker Commercial (founders were Colbert Coldwell and Arthurt Banker) started bank in 1906 in San Francisco. There actually is a residential brokerage company in existence coming from the same routes called Coldwell Banker (origins are the same men). However, Coldwell Banker real estate and CB Ricard Ellis are not legally or corporately related in any way shape or form.

Competitors

Is there a rationale behind the second listing competitors? McDonald's, for example, doesn't list Burger King and Wendy's. I'm going to remove that section unless there are objections. justinfr (talk) 18:01, 18 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Fixing arrow

The green and upward arrow was used in a wrong way. This should be used to indicate an increase/decrease from previous year. Please refer to pages such as Goldman Sachs or Morgan Stanley for more information.

Attribution

Text and/or other creative content from Coldwell Banker was copied or moved into CB Richard Ellis with this edit. The former page's history now serves to provide attribution for that content in the latter page, and it must not be deleted as long as the latter page exists.

CB Richard Ellis → CBRE Group – The company officially changed its name last week -- http://www.cbre.com/EN/AboutUs/MediaCentre/2011/Pages/100311.aspx -- from CB Richard Ellis Group, Inc., to CBRE Group, Inc. As such, the Wikipedia page name needs to be changed to CBRE Group, Inc. Larry Koestler (talk) 15:35, 11 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I fixed the name from NewName to CBRE Group in your request. Generally the "inc" is left off. However, Wikipedia articles reflect the common name of a group, so it's probably worth waiting to see what the media refers to CBRE as. tedder (talk) 16:18, 11 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
