CB currently doesn't stand for anything. However, it's origin does come from the founders of the old company Coldwell Banker Commercial (founders were Colbert Coldwell and Arthurt Banker) started bank in 1906 in San Francisco. There actually is a residential brokerage company in existence coming from the same routes called Coldwell Banker (origins are the same men). However, Coldwell Banker real estate and CB Ricard Ellis legally or corporately related in any way shape or form. |

CB currently doesn't stand for anything.
