This article makes it appear as if Kara Mustafa was executed due to his loss at the Siege of Vienna. However, I believe that Mehmet IV actually chose to order the Grand Vizier's death after he lost the city of Párkány (today known as Štúrovo) to the Christian coalition at the October 1683 Battle of Parkany. Could someone verify this and, if true, edit the article accordingly?

If the Austrian part of the Legacy stays, it should have a date. Original poster?? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 4.230.222.42 (talk) 18:01, 4 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Albanian origin?

He was adopted into the Albanian Köprülü family, but being a native of Merzion, it's unlikely his birth parents were Albanian. I believe sources are confused about this. --Mttll (talk) 13:05, 23 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
