The Genesis Code is a new film released 2010, directed by C. Thomas Howell and Patrick Read Johnson, and written by Michael W. Leighton. The film attempts to provide a bridge between science and evolution and the Bible in the story of Creation in the Book of Genesis. "The Genesis Code" was filmed in Grand Rapids, Michigan and partly on the campus of Calvin College. The film debuted at the Grand Rapids Film Festival.

"The Genesis Code" centers around Christian journalism student Kerry Wells (Kelsey Sanders) and atheist college hockey player Blake Truman (Logan Bartholomew) as she tries to convince him of the legitimacy of the Creation story. A romance eventually develops between Kerry and Blake.
