The Man from Independence is a 1974 biographicaldrama film directed by Jack Smight[1][2] and written by Edward DeBlasio.[3] The film stars Robert Vaughn,[4] Arthur Kennedy, Martha Scott, June Dayton,[5] Russell Johnson, Ronne Troup, Alan Fudge, and Tasha Lee.[2]

Plot

The film tells the story of Harry S. Truman as he begins his political career in 1929.
