I work in the biotech/pharmaceutical sector in Germany, with a particular interest in cancer research and startups. |

I am currently a post-doctoral researcher in chemical biology ([[cancer]] research) at the European Molecular Biology Laboratory ([http://www.embl.de/ EMBL]) in Heidelberg, Germany. |

Apart from cancer research, my interests are in drug discovery for diseases of the developing world, including [[malaria]], [[trypanosomiasis]], and [[leishmaniasis]]. To this end, I am planning to help with the creation of more information related to these diseases, the current state of drug development in these therapy areas, and any other useful information that relates to clinical trials in general and organisations (such as NGOs, companies, and public-private partnerships) that are involved in this field. |
