About Me

[edit]

Hello, and welcome to my User Page. It might not be much to look at, but it might help you to understand me better as to how I fit into the Wikipedia Society.

I am a 25 year old professional Software Developer. I am extremely fluent in C# and have been an active evangelist of the Microsoft .Net Development Platform since its early stages, originally focusing on VB.Net and now more than ever, focusing on C#. I am a native english speaker, and also know Japanese, although I know some French, I do not keep in practice anymore.

Over the years I have participated in some exciting challenges, one of which was the Skills Canada competition, which I attented twice - once for website design and a second time for 3D Animation - and achieved 4th Place Overall in 3D Animation. Some of my more spectacular accomplishments include the Canada Day Celebrations at Columbia Lake in Waterloo and Kincardine, in which I was one of a small crew of Firework Technicians who setup and fired the firework shows.

I have been slowly working my way into the Television and Film industry in Canada. I currently am a community producer for TVCOGECO and I am in the process of developing a gaming & hobby show for the local market. In addition, I am a freelance videographer, mainly serving the local TVCOGECO station.

I am a practicing Shinto, and truely enjoy the Japanese culture, from the Food and Religion to the Festivals and Animation. It is my goal in life to eventually move to Japan.

Wikipedia has been a great source of knowledge for me, and as of late, I wish to give back to the community that which it gave me.
