@Cross Indian Please revert your edits in List of INDIA candidates in West Bengal section. The talks are going on only. Even TMC leaders have said that they cannot find third seat for Congress with binoculars. So please wait. Till now INC is with CPIM. XYZ 250706 (talk) 17:43, 23 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at List of Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance candidates for the 2024 Indian general election. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Do not add alliances before they are confirmed. CPM will most likely have a very minor role outside of Kerala and West Bengal. Do SP has more presence in MP that they have demanded seat. I'm not a Left supporter. Cross Indian (talk) 09:07, 25 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
CPIM was in power in Tripura for 25 years and in opposition in AP and TN for many times. Cross Indian (talk) 09:07, 25 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
SP got higher vote share than SP did in MP in Rajasthan, HP, Telangana etc. Cross Indian (talk) 09:08, 25 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Bihar has 17 seats won by Left Front. Only 2 less than Congress. Is it less? Cross Indian (talk) 09:12, 25 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Cross Indian I think you should not rush to add seat sharing. But @Ok123l Left parties have some significant presence in some pocket of various states. That may have not been sufficient to win elections on their own. But they can get seats there in alliance. What presence has AAP in Harayana and Assam (although it looks like in Assam they will contest independently) or TMC in Assam and UP (SP is likely to leave a seat and TMC is demanding seats in Assam)? Your act of mentioning any particular party may not appear as unbiased editing. I have no political affiliation. But I do not think anyone can have argument with the facts mentioned by me with proper reasoning. Besides, your edits also seem to be original research as you are saying 'likely not to contest'. AAP also did not even field any candidates in Haryana in 2019 Lok Sabha, but they get seats this time. @Cross Indian You should use full party name with colour, atleast party name with colour (if not full). For both of you, INDIA is not actually a national pre-poll alliance. It is a bloc of opposition parties which are involved in seat sharing exercise and political understanding in various states in accordance with the particular political situation of that state with other parties, organisations outside the bloc and hence member parties of the bloc can contest against each other in various states. So the article is getting too much complicated. Should we draftify it for now? XYZ 250706 (talk) 11:41, 25 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
As you changed the format. Now you please add full party name template in all sections. I am busy till March 11. I will not edit till that time. Cross Indian (talk) 11:58, 25 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Cross Indian@Ok123l You will not be able to see any kind of national level seat sharing in INDIA bloc. XYZ 250706 (talk) 11:59, 25 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
There won't be seat sharing in only two states - West Bengal, and Punjab. Maybe Assam too, but they are barely ~65 seats out of 543 total Lok Sabha seats. You cannot say it is not a national alliance because ~10% of seats won't be contested in an alliance. The name literally says "Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance". As for the Left parties, I removed them because Congress was not in talks with them, whereas Congress was in talks with AAP for seat sharing in various states. Ok123l (talk) 15:17, 25 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Please wait Cross Indian (talk) 15:18, 25 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Ok123l No I mean there will be many seats other than WB, Keral, Punjab where member parties can contest against each other. I think I cannot made my words clear. INDIA is not national level seat sharing alliance. Every state has its own political situation. The seat sharing is based on only that. XYZ 250706 (talk) 15:20, 25 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
You do not have any sources regarding the seat sharing talks taking place Or not. Actually media cover who gives money to them. It's unfair to say, but it is truth. XYZ 250706 (talk) 15:21, 25 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Cross Indian Besides Congress not having seat sharing talks (although speculations only, no confirmation) does not mean that left will not contest. XYZ 250706 (talk) 15:22, 25 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
