Species to Taxon edits

I watch a great many plant pages so I was very surprised to see all the changes you recently made to the Allium taxoboxes without a source showing this is the most commonly accepted classification. From what I know about the genus, not all the subgenuses are monophyletic or agreed upon. Perhaps in this case they are correct but without a source these edits are problematic.

Do you have a source saying that this is the preferred classification or is there a discussion about this here on Wikipedia that I have not seen? 🌿MtBotany (talk) 13:57, 20 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
