We are also in the process of forming a new UK Wikimedia chapter to replace the soon to be folded old one. If you are interested in helping shape our plans, showing your support or becoming a future member or board member, please head over to [[m:Wikimedia UK v2.0|the Wikimedia UK v2.0 page]] and let us know. We plan on holding an election in the next month to find the initial board, who will oversee the process of founding the company and accepting membership applications. They will then call an AGM to formally elect a new board who after obtaining charitable status will start the fund raising, promotion and active support for the UK Wikimedian community for which the chapter is being founded. |

Stranraer Town Railway Station
Do we have an entry for the old town station of Stranraer. I remember, when I could get access to Railscot it mentioned that the station closed in the 60's but up until at least the 80's the site was still used for sidings. If rumours come to pass and the harbour station closes, I wonder if the old town site will be reopened as it seemed from what I read to be a far better station site, though inevitably at the time, the main focus was the ferry link. Cunninghamhead Estate
Hello Dreamer. I have had a few phone calls from the owner of the old stables at Cunninghamhead. A neighbour seems to be adding personal and inappropriate comments at a time when he is trying to sell his house. Do you know what can be done to stop this - the person is not logging in.
