Hello, Filelakeshoe, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one of your contributions does not conform to Wikipedia's Neutral Point of View policy (NPOV). Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations that have been stated in print or on reputable websites or other forms of media.

There's a page about the NPOV policy that has tips on how to effectively write about disparate points of view without compromising the NPOV status of the article as a whole. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the Questions page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, click here to ask for help on your talk page, and a volunteer should respond shortly. Below are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Questions or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome! </nowiki>. I've just recently started using some of these less general templates. There is a list at Wikipedia:Template messages/User talk namespace under "single level templates". Natalie 00:22, 5 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

G4

I do agree G4s isn't necessarily appropriate for speedies, however Iranians or Persians? was a contested speedy, which I think makes it suitable for G4, doesn't it? Not trying to wheel war here: it's just that if I've misinterpreted this, I'd like to know. :) -WarthogDemon 23:18, 5 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

No problem, I'm certainly guilty of jumping the gun on CSDs and PRODs now and then myself. Stay well. GlassCobra 01:15, 6 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your support in my Request for Adminship. Unfortunately the nomination did not succeed, but please rest assured that I am still in full support of the Wikipedia project, and I'll try again in a few months! If you ever have any questions or suggestions for me, please don't hesitate to contact me. Best wishes, --Elonka 03:49, 6 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Visual Kei

I am contacting a few people in the Wikipedia:WikiProject Music genres project to please come and give a Neutral point of view on if we should consider Visual Kei a "genre". There is currently an edit war that has been going on since January of 2007 - we really some outside opinions. I have put some information on the WP Music Genres talk page, if you have time to look. Thanks either way. Denaar 06:47, 6 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

ATT: ZEIBURA

hi, its kridian here (neuro writer). since you have a bit of time now, how about if you can help out finish those interview links so we can give a bit of a closure. i made some changes in relation to lyrical content and origin and it reads better now. if we can finish those interview links with phace and others i think it will be complete and good quality until further steps - in relation to the technical side of production - can be taken by someone else because i think i did my part and so did you, big time.

in reference to your question, "from which sources did i write the neurofunk article from"? well, i´ve been following jungle dnb since 1993 and i have a profesional musical backgrounbd coming from punk, rock, jazz, funk, soul, and techno. i´ve been a member of bassist producer bill laswell´s crew for the last 15 years and i was a&r for celluloid records during the late 80´s - check both names bill laswell and celluloid records here on wiki - so i guess that i wrote the article based on my knowledge of funk, jazz, techno, break- beat and fusions in general, knowledge of artists adding different elements to their music, my conversation with jamie matrix in his flat in relation to neuro and miles davis, and interviews with optical on knowledge magazine, record reviews, and articles over the years when artists from doc scott to phace would reveal the influence of lets say, deep house music or belgium techno in their works. also, when you listen to artists such as kemal, you can clearly hear echoes or influence coming from jeff mills, almost to the point of one imitating the other. raiden claimed on dsci4 forum that jeff mills and no u-turn were the biggest influences on his music so if i had to write about raiden, i would claim that. but its also very visible the influence of jeff mills on raiden´s techno over- tones and he cant escape the influence of ed rush when he does a bassline, its like an ed rush bassline, he actually borrows from ed rush like keith richards borrowed from chuck berry and you can actually hear it. so i guess its a combination of all things, knowledge, forum surfing - dsci4, SLR, DOA, offkey, - articles, interviews, lots of music listening, and my work in production as an a&r/concept producer in jazz & dnb. i actually helped put together herbie hancock and paradox on the same tune and its coming out this fall. i can ask dsci4 people to help me with some links in relation to interviews but every time i asked for help, they refused out of lazyness. only 1 guy helped me out with those clips, maybe i´ll ask him again.

worse comes to worse, we leave the phace interview out ´cause i feel that the noisia interview was enough.

I added myself to the participants list, though my focus in EDM-related editing is with recordings rather than genres and scenes. Just64helpin 23:32, 11 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

My userpage

Thanks for the award! :) The wikilinks have actually developed over time, if you look at the history... people come and go and add stuff in as they like, I should probably just rename my page to the wikilink sandbox :) Feel free to add your own special touch!
