Hi! We're having a Canberra Wikimeetup on 20 November 2011 at Siren Bar in Gunghalin from 2pm to 4pm. It's most just a chance to chat with other local Wikipedians, get a chance to go a different sort of bar (which is reasonably kid friendly, serves real food, and has non-alcholic options), and, if you're interested, learning more about what Wikimedia Australia and local GLAM projects are happening. We'd love to see you and any Wikipedia/Wikimedia/wiki loving friends you have there. --LauraHale (talk) 07:11, 31 October 2011 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification (for Grahamec)
Hi, this message is to let you know about disambiguation links you've recently created. A link to a disambiguation page is almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. For more information, see the FAQ or drop a line at the DPL WikiProject.

Revision as of 18:40, 14 November 2011

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Stralsund station, and it appears to include material copied directly from http://www.archive.org/stream/977uboat001463mbp/977uboat001463mbp_djvu.txt.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. You may use such publications as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. (If you own the copyright to the previously published content and wish to donate it, see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for the procedure.) DYK

Hi. I've nominated Neckar-Alb Railway, an article you worked on, for consideration to appear on the Main Page as part of Wikipedia:Did you know. You can see the hook for the article here, where you can improve it if you see fit. BabbaQ (talk) 13:19, 13 March 2011 (UTC) --BabbaQ (talk) 13:19, 13 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

DYK

Hey- I nominated Plochingen station for DYK, but the reviewer suggested that the article include more inline citations (at least one per paragraph). Is it possible that you could add those? You can see the nomination here: T:TDYK#Plochingen station --E♴(talk) 22:48, 21 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

...is currently a being reviewed - all help with any sources to fill the article with citations would be insanely appreciated. Cheers, Casliber (talk · contribs) 19:25, 23 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image File:Russell Drysdale The rabbitter and his family 1938.jpg

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:Russell Drysdale The rabbitter and his family 1938.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Marbach (Neckar) station, and it appears to include material copied directly from http://www.fsmmali.org/nation/n+gauge.aspx.

DB station images

Hi Graham. Sorry, I may have screwed up the display of images when I amended the DB Bahnhof template last night. Of course we can either fix the template to take the bare filename or require the full entry. I slightly favour the former because it means no extra work when transferring the data from de.wiki, but can live with either. --Bermicourt (talk) 18:05, 25 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Emma Blair website

Oh dear, you seem to be right. That's only happened in the last few days or so because it was there last weekend when I wrote the article. I think I'll remove it as I doubt it will come back. Cheers TheRetroGuy (talk) 13:34, 28 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

WP Australian Politics in the Signpost

"WikiProject Report" would like to focus on WikiProject Australian Politics for a Signpost article. This is an excellent opportunity to draw attention to your efforts and attract new members to the project. Would you be willing to participate in an interview? If so, here are the questions for the interview. Just add your response below each question and feel free to skip any questions that you don't feel comfortable answering. Other editors will also have an opportunity to respond to the interview questions. If you know anyone else who would like to participate in the interview, please share this with them. Have a great day. -Mabeenot (talk) 16:48, 3 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

AfD: Friends meeting house, Adelaide

Hi! Would you mind looking at this little article? I have trouble seeing what's not notable about the place and what's wrong with the references. Doug butler (talk) 23:19, 5 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

New Page Patrol survey

New page patrol – Survey Invitation

Hello Grahamec! The WMF is currently developing new tools to make new page patrolling much easier. Whether you have patrolled many pages or only a few, we now need to know about your experience. The survey takes only 6 minutes, and the information you provide will not be shared with third parties other than to assist us in analyzing the results of the survey; the WMF will not use the information to identify you.

 • If this invitation also appears on other accounts you may have, please complete the survey once only.
 • If this has been sent to you in error and you have never patrolled new pages, please ignore it.

Please click HERE to take part.
Many thanks in advance for providing this essential feedback.

You are receiving this invitation because you have patrolled new pages. For more information, please see NPP Survey

I'm posting this message on your talk page because I noticed that you've recently created the new article Duisburg-Großenbaum station--The content seems pretty substantial. However, I think the article seems to contain a few errors: some of the article's Wikilinks are broken.
