Bay Valley Foods

Can you help me save Bay Valley Foods? the deletionists are going after me.

You do exist

No. You do exist.

Thanks for fixing my mistakes on Template:Lang0 and Template:Lang0-n.

Your First edit makes you look like a new user, however you edit as if you have been with us for a long time. You blend in very well. I always hate that feeling when I do things and nobody simes to notice as if I Do not Exist. Your edit to the tempate I made lets me know I Exist and my coomment to you shluld let you know you Exist. Haha I made that, nice to see how many people have used it so far. :) Mwhorn 22:48, 21 June 2006 (UTC)

"I do not exist"...

...when translated in Greek ("δεν υπάρχω" - "dhén ypárcho") means literally the same. Metaphorically though, it can be translated with a meaning like "I am too cool to exist"! Similarly when you tell someone "you do not exist" ("δεν υπάρχεις" - "dhén ypárchis"), it is an expression of exclaiming someone's actions (something like: "you're too good to be true!"). Since this is your username, I thought you should know!  NikoSilver  (T) @ (C) 12:59, 14 June 2006 (UTC)

PS: δεν υπάρχεις, indeed! :-)

Heheheheh. That's great. :D – (), 13:03, 14 June 2006 (UTC)

Userboxes

Hi there. I like your new userboxes and I wanted to ask if you would mind if I added them to the userbox directory that I maintain. Thank you. —Mira 18:14, 14 June 2006 (UTC)

Go ahead! – (), 18:38, 14 June 2006 (UTC)
Done! And if you make any more in the same vein, feel free to add them in yourself. —Mira 18:51, 14 June 2006 (UTC)

Hello, person who doesn't exist.

Hi! – (), 01:34, 15 June 2006 (UTC)

Skunk

What is it that connects Gödel's incompleteness theorems to ruling, and Elasmosaurus to worshiping? And WTF does any of these have to do with a skunk? Is it surrealistic or am I too dumb to work it out? I am very curious, so kindly give me a hint!

If you do, I'll give you the answer to this:

A mother and her daughter (aged 51 and 17 respectively) are stranded on a deserted island. After one year a black person is shipwrecked on the same island and meets them. One more year later, the mother calls the black "father", and the daughter calls him "uncle". What happened during the last year?

Waiting for feedback... :NikoSilver: 12:18, 16 June 2006 (UTC)

Nope... click the link :) – (), 14:34, 16 June 2006 (UTC)
Besides, it's a completely gratuitous skunk™, anyway. – (), 14:40, 16 June 2006 (UTC)

PS3: You may comment to this and that if you wish. I think it concerns you too.

Sorry Silver. I Guess I did look at this out of context. My apologies to Silver.--E-Bod 04:08, 19 June 2006 (UTC)

Bokeh FPC

It's perfectly fine to nominate images from commons for featuring here. In fact, since FP requires free images, chances are that a nom these days is going to be on commons. You should readd your nomination, it's a good picture. Night Gyr (talk/Oy) 16:51, 25 June 2006 (UTC)

FPC

You can certainly nominate an article for FPC whether it's uploaded to Commons or Wikipedia. Just link to it like this: Image:Josefina with Bokeh.jpg.--Pharos 16:52, 25 June 2006 (UTC)

Removed!

And now the've removed my nomination because of some sort of licensing incompatibility. Actually the whole picture has been speedied. Damn, I'm so green. And so not a lawyer. >_< – (), 19:41, 25 June 2006 (UTC)

It's OK

I didn't know you were making fun of the idea, not me. Yeah, it would be kinda distracting, but I didn't know that 'cuz they don't distract me. GangstaEB help me improve! 19:43, 4 August 2006 (UTC)

Languages

Hi There! Can you translate my name in what language you know please, and then post it Here. I would be very grateful if you do (if you know another language apart from English and the ones on my userpage please feel free to post it on) P.S. all th translations are in alpahbetical order so when you add one please put it in alpahbetical order according to the language. Don't add any more silly languages please. Thanks!!! Abdullah Geelah 18:32, 19 August 2006 (UTC)

Mami Wata

Thanks for spotting that Mami Wata has some problems. I know that you claim on your user page to not know enough to contribute. However, what contribution requires isn't knowledge, it is research skills. If you have those, please use them on Mami Wata, cause it certainly needs it. GRBerry 16:21, 29 August 2006 (UTC)

I came to say the same thing. I've got a ton of notes on Mami Wata that I'm currently sorting through in an attempt to replace the 75% malarkey that's there now. I'm slowly getting back into the groove of Wiki'ing after moving overseas, though, so it's been slowgoing. Any help is much appreciated. — BrianSmithson 22:17, 29 August 2006 (UTC)
Unfortunately I have zero research skills, that's why I tagged the article so people who have them could improve it. ^_^ - (), 05:35, 30 August 2006 (UTC)

Skunkeh!

Thanks for the compliment on my userpage! It might just be a furry thing, but I like pages with animal pictures too. Hyenaste (tell) 03:19, 10 September 2006 (UTC)

Mama Zogbé

I wanted to let you know that I removed your prod notice and replaced it with a {{afd1}} at Mama Zogbé. I think the article has serious problems, but it's just borderline enough for me to not feel completely comfortable letting it fall by the wayside of {{prod}}. By all means, please stop by the deletion debate and put in your two cents. — BrianSmithson 08:17, 11 September 2006 (UTC)

CSD I1

Images such as Image:21york.JPG which are duplicates do not need to go through IFD. They fall under CSD I1: redundant images. You can use the template {{redundant image}} to nominate these under CSD. --MECUtalk 00:03, 18 December 2006 (UTC)

Re:AIV

No, they must be blocked if they continue vandalism, but AIV is for short-term listings only, and it is unlikely that this user will return soon. Academic Challenger 01:15, 26 January 2007 (UTC)

They might still come back, they were here just a few hours before, ridiculing their final warning. We'll see how things develop. :p - (), 01:55, 26 January 2007 (UTC)

I vandalised you good

If you're homophobic again as you were in the Gay Fuel Discussion article you will be vandalised again, with more serious consequences. Thank you. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 86.135.254.246 (talk) 17:48, 10 February 2007 (UTC).

You made me giggle. Note that the only consequences of your continuing to vandalize Wikipedia will be your being blocked and my getting a laugh at your expense. Have a nice day. - (), 18:37, 10 February 2007 (UTC)

It would make sense to move a few or all of my boxes to go along with Mira's archive, as they are related. Could you set your bot to do this? - (), 21:15, 20 March 2007 (UTC)

Why did you rewrite the Ada Lovelace article?

Hi, on March 28 (yesterday), you rewrote the entire Ada Lovelace article, citing a "copyvio", AKA a copyright violation. What makes you think the article was lifted from elsewhere? Korny O'Near 13:03, 29 March 2007 (UTC)

I didn't rewrite it, 195.194.178.151 did. See [1]. I reverted their rewrite, which was attributed to a Dr. Betty Toole. - (), 05:37, 30 March 2007 (UTC)
Oh, sorry about that. Total confusion on my part. Korny O'Near 11:00, 30 March 2007 (UTC)

Thaks for the advice

Regarding the seven-man pyramid, your point on the use of "infamous" is well taken. Though it has certainly had the sad luck of being infamous at times, you are quite right - it is not infamous (and hopefully will never again regain that distinction).
So far as Layout and Standards goes, yah, total crap. Still working on those - very slow going.

*hangs head in shame* Sorry for the unfriendly edit summary ._. - (), 17:21, 5 May 2007 (UTC)

I'll murder that stupid eukaryote if it kills me!

I was about to revert your speedy nomination, but I see you did it first. The article is begging for speedy, but sadly nothing quite fits! Flyguy649talkcontribs 03:47, 25 May 2007 (UTC)

Yeah... that's too bad :-) Didn't remember A7 was only for people and organizations. :-p - (), 03:48, 25 May 2007 (UTC)
But someone speedied it under A7 anyways... whatever! Flyguy649talkcontribs 19:40, 25 May 2007 (UTC)

Mocking beliefs

Please look through our civility policy and in the future please refrain from mocking other people's belief systems as you did here[2]. Wikipedia is not the place to promote your opinion about a religion. If you don't think a belief system makes sense that is fine, you can even get a blog and post about it, but not on Wikipedia. (H) 14:01, 25 May 2007 (UTC)

I was merely stating my opinion that the article in question did not adhere to NPOV. It preaches a religion. - (), 02:43, 27 May 2007 (UTC)
No you were making a statement about what you thought of the belief in a belittling manner. That is different than "merely stating my opinion that the article in question did not adhere to NPOV". (H) 03:18, 27 May 2007 (UTC)
Oh, people believe in the silliest things. I can't be expected to take everything up to and including Time Cube seriously. My opinion on the Urantia book is that it is just as implausible as Time Cube, but not nearly as funny. Therefore it fails even as a joke religion. However, that is my opinion on the religion itself, and not on the article, and thus has no place on Wikipedia. I apologize. Allow me to rephrase: The article reads like a pamphlet for the Urantia religion. Wikipedia can be so funny sometimes. That better? - (), 03:46, 27 May 2007 (UTC)
No, that isn't better. For WP:NPOV deficiencies, please bring up on the discussion page the specific shortcomings you see, to assist with good faith improvement of the article. It isn't the intent of any article to be a pamphlet but to accurately and neutrally present a topic. If you withhold your specific criticisms it doesn't improve the article and really your comments aren't for anything. Wazronk 20:14, 27 May 2007 (UTC)
It does not matter what you think, this is not the place to promote it. Do not take this warning as an invitation to do it again. (H) 00:05, 28 May 2007 (UTC)
I have been thoroughly... warned? - (), 00:42, 28 May 2007 (UTC)

Removal of reference for dolphinarium article

I've reverted your removal of this reference in the dolphinarium article: Dolphin aggression in captivity The reason for this is simply that it is a good reference. ALL incidents on that website are sourced and thus there is no reason to believe this website wouldn't be a good reference, unless you can provide evidence otherwise. That it is hosted on geocities isn't relevant for it being a good reference or not. BabyNuke 19:04, 3 June 2007 (UTC)

Okay - (), 22:22, 3 June 2007 (UTC)

I reverted your |left there. In fact we used to have it, but we soon figured it was breaking the layout on some pages. Usually on templates that are part of a series, it is best to first suggest the change since for consistency reason, that change should be done on all templates. Thanks! :) -- lucasbfr talk 14:37, 14 June 2007 (UTC)

Looking for something to do? WikiProject Furry is improving articles on furry and anthropomorphic topics, and we'd like to have you on board.

Our current goal is to raise Anthrocon, furry convention and furry fandom to good article status and beyond - but if that doesn't take your fancy, there are plenty of other articles to work on. Give it a go and let us know how you're doing!

You received this one-time invitation because you are a Furry Wikipedian. GreenReaper 22:51, 28 July 2007 (UTC)
