A tag has been placed on [[:Emich (disambiguation)]] requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under [[WP:CSD#G14|section G14 of the criteria for speedy deletion]], because it is a disambiguation page which either
:::*disambiguates only one extant Wikipedia page and whose title ends in "(disambiguation)" (i.e., there is a [[Wikipedia:Disambiguation#Is there a primary topic?|primary topic]]);
:::* disambiguates zero extant Wikipedia pages, regardless of its title; or
:::*is an [[Wikipedia:Orphan|orphaned]] redirect with a title ending in "(disambiguation)" that does not target a disambiguation page or page that has a disambiguation-like function.
Under the [[WP:CSD#Articles|criteria for speedy deletion]], such pages may be deleted at any time. Please [[Wikipedia:MOSDAB|see the disambiguation page guidelines for more information]].

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may '''contest the nomination''' by [[:Emich (disambiguation)|visiting the page]] and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with [[Wikipedia:List of policies|Wikipedia's policies and guidelines]]. == Joseph Yariv ==

I appreciate why you'd want to put some info about [[Joseph Yariv]] in the [[Yariv reagent]] page, but the sentence needs some work:
:{{tq|The biographical article about Joseph Yariv was published by the Journal of Applied Crystallography.}}
By saying "a" rather than "the" is probably more accurate. Also the location of the publication isn't hugely relevant (and is obvious from the ref). It might be more useful to instead include some biographical detail on him relevant to the reagent itself rather than just that an obituary exists, e.g.:
:{{tq|The reagent initially synthesised in 1962 by Joseph Yariv in the years following his PhD graduation}} or something that pulls a relevant piece of info from that obituary?
What do you think? [[User:Evolution and evolvability|T.Shafee(Evo<small>&#38;</small>Evo)]][[User talk:Evolution and evolvability|talk]] 11:35, 14 March 2022 (UTC)
:{{ping|Evolution and evolvability}} - I think it is important to indicate where we can find detailed info about Yariv. I spent quite some time to find who "Yariv, J." is. By the way, I am not against butting some basic bio sketch about Yariv into this article. (If you just throw the obituary as a random ref, people will not be aware that the ref is for his bio, not just for a facoid.) Unfortunately I have other things to do. == Speedy deletion nomination of Mieleszczuk ==

Hello Loew Galitz,

Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username [[User:Akevsharma|Akevsharma]] and it's nice to meet you :-)

I wanted to let you know that I have tagged an article that you started, [[Mieleszczuk]] for deletion, because it is unnecessary per one of the criteria at [[WP:G14]].

If you feel that the page shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can remove the speedy deletion tag from the top. If the page is already deleted by the time you come across this message and you wish to retrieve the deleted material, please contact the {{Querylink|Special:Log|qs=type=delete&page=Mieleszczuk&subtype=delete|deleting administrator}}.

For any further query, please leave a comment here and prepend it with <code><nowiki>{{Re|</nowiki>Akevsharma<nowiki>}}</nowiki></code>. And, don't forget to sign your reply with <code><nowiki>~~~~</nowiki></code> . Thanks!

Hello, Loew Galitz,

When you tag any page for deletion (CSD, PROD, AFD/TFD/RFD/etc.), please post a notification on the talk page of the page creator. They really should be aware that a deletion discussion is occurring. This notification is made easy if you use [[WP:TWINKLE|Twinkle]], an editing tool that will post these notifications for you when you use it to tag pages for deletion. Just set up your Twinkle Preferences to "Notify page creator" and it will take care of these notifications. There are also some really nice features about Twinkle and most admins and many editors use it if they do a lot of page patrolling. I highly recommend it. Thank you! <span style="font-family:Papyrus; color:#800080;">[[User:Liz|'''''L'''''iz]]</span> [[Special:Contributions/Liz|'''''Read!''''']] [[User talk:Liz|'''''Talk!''''']] 01:57, 31 March 2022 (UTC)
:It would also help if you left a descriptive edit summary stating that you have nominated a page for deletion. Twinkle will do this for you, too, if you utilize it for tagging pages. <span style="font-family:Papyrus; color:#800080;">[[User:Liz|'''''L'''''iz]]</span> [[Special:Contributions/Liz|'''''Read!''''']] [[User talk:Liz|'''''Talk!''''']] 01:58, 31 March 2022 (UTC)
:: Thank you for telling me about this time-saving possibility. I never used twinkle before. [[User:Loew Galitz|Loew Galitz]] ([[User talk:Loew Galitz#top|talk]]) 02:01, 31 March 2022 (UTC)

== Transliterations ==
Hello! I don't understand why my removal of non-relevant Arabic transliterations of Hebrew names of Jewish towns was removed from many towns. Anyway you placed a transliteration request on [[Or Yehuda]] and [[Kiryat Haim]]. In both cases, كريات حاييم and أور يهوده are not Arabic, they mean nothing in Arabic. These two names are a possible transliteration of the Hebrew name to the Arabic characters, they are the same almost as the English title which is also a transliteration of the Hebrew. [[User:חוקרת|חוקרת]] ([[User talk:חוקרת|talk]]) 15:38, 6 April 2022 (UTC)
[[File:שלט רחוב יהודה (3777232251).jpg|thumb|150px]]
:{{ping|חוקרת}} Aribic transliteration is relevant because the country has significant Arabic population. Moreover, Arabic is [[Basic Law: Israel as the Nation-State of the Jewish People|a recognized language with special status]] (In fact it was an official language bevor 2018). In any case, since this is a general issue, you have to discuss it in [[Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Israel]]. [[User:Loew Galitz|Loew Galitz]] ([[User talk:Loew Galitz#top|talk]]) 16:57, 6 April 2022 (UTC)
:The transliteration is requested because this is english-language wikipedia and people have no idea whether أور يهوده means allah akbar or golda meir. By the way, please change your signature in English wikipedia to something readable ("Khokeret" or "Researcher" or something altogether different). It is not a policy, but a matter of courtesy. [[User:Loew Galitz|Loew Galitz]] ([[User talk:Loew Galitz#top|talk]]) 16:41, 6 April 2022 (UTC)
::How do I change my signature?
::Arabic has a special status and is relevant in some towns, like Arab or mixed towns. These are completely Jewish towns.
::أور يهوده is simply not Arabic. Light in Arabic is not Or, it doesn't start with an aliph أ. Light in Arabic can be nur نور, that starts with ن, nun. Yehuda, this person this town is named for, in Arabic is يهوذا not يهوده. The أور يهوده form is a direct mapping of each of the Hebrew letters to their Arabic equivalent. א to أ, then ו to و, and ר to ر. Same with יהודה (Yehuda) that is mapped letter-letter to يهوده, but Arabic has its own way of writing Judah and Judas, and it is يهوذا, ending with an alif and not ha. ::: Thansliteration: what you wrote is irrelevant. Englsh readers dont know arabic, nor correspondence to Hebrew. [[User:Loew Galitz|Loew Galitz]] ([[User talk:Loew Galitz#top|talk]]) 18:41, 6 April 2022 (UTC)

== Underground cave is redundant ==

Hello, I make edits to the tautology of "underground cave". The reason it is redundant is that all caves exist underground by definition. There is no such thing as a cave that is above ground. All caves are within the ground, and therefore under it; and that's why "underground cave" is redundant. I'd recommend if you want to make the argument that it specifies where a cave is located, that you mention it is beneath something in particular, like a city, farmland, adjacent fields, etc. [[User:Leitmotiv|Leitmotiv]] ([[User talk:Leitmotiv|talk]]) 15:38, 8 April 2022 (UTC)
:{{ping|Leitmotiv}} {{tq| All caves are within the ground}} -- false. Anyway, I am not going to waste time on arguments about definitions here. The term is widely used and what is more, I copied it from the source. Heck, there is even a $20 term "subterranean cave". [[User:Loew Galitz|Loew Galitz]] ([[User talk:Loew Galitz#top|talk]]) 18:39, 8 April 2022 (UTC)
::If you go to Wikipedia's [[cave]] article, it literally states caves are in the ground. If you are in a cave and look up, what do you see above you? Are you beneath it or above it? Subterranean cave is also redundant. I'm willing to explore this with you, but just declaring something false does not make it so. [[User:Leitmotiv|Leitmotiv]] ([[User talk:Leitmotiv|talk]]) 18:44, 8 April 2022 (UTC)
::Additionally, if you go to [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Principle_of_Some_Astonishment Principle of Some Astonishment] they routinely point out glaring grammatical errors. "Subterranean caves" makes an appearance. [[User:Leitmotiv|Leitmotiv]] ([[User talk:Leitmotiv|talk]]) 18:48, 8 April 2022 (UTC)
:::{{ping|Leitmotiv}}Wikipedia is not a valid reference, even in talk pages, because its text often sucks due to wikipedians suffering from preconceived notions, so they don't cite from references what '''exactly was written''' there. And right now I fixed the lede of "[[cave]]" from exactly this issue. And you have a similar problem: you are reading what you want as well (it is called "[[confirmation bias]]"): {{tq|are in the ground}} is not the same as "under the ground".
:::Once again, I am not going to discuss the definitions '''here''', i.e., in my talk page. Sorry for my tone: I am not a native English speaker.[[User:Loew Galitz|Loew Galitz]] ([[User talk:Loew Galitz#top|talk]]) 19:24, 8 April 2022 (UTC)
::::P.S. Yes, I cited wikipedia as well :-) ("[[confirmation bias]]"). Fortunately, wikipedia drawbacks are compensated by the [[WP:VERIFIABILITY]] rule: even if a text in it may be dubious, a reasonable article has references, from which it text can be verified and fixed if necessary. Cheers, [[User:Loew Galitz|Loew Galitz]] ([[User talk:Loew Galitz#top|talk]]) 19:24, 8 April 2022 (UTC)
:::::If I'm reading you right, it sounds like you want a broader discussion on the article talk page rather than here? I understand about a need to say "under the ground" but that doesn't tell us any more than we already know - which is why I suggested you detailing where under the ground the cave is located. I only mentioned Wikipedia's cave article, not to cite it, but to show you what experts on editing cave articles have already demonstrated, via the sources they cite. It's bad faith to suggest Wikipedians suffer from an affliction. Dictionaries often define caves as within the Earth, i.e. in the ground. FYI, Wikipedia does not allow the duplication of prose from cited material, unless it is directly quoted. [[User:Leitmotiv|Leitmotiv]] ([[User talk:Leitmotiv|talk]]) 19:42, 8 April 2022 (UTC)
::::::{{tq|It's bad faith to suggest Wikipedians suffer from an affliction}}} -- no it is not. We even have several wikipedia articles on [[Wikipedia bias]]. Ignoring or silencing wikipedia's bias is sweping the problems under the carpet. If someone thinks that they are free of any cognitive bias and take an insult when pointed at, they are a big problem for wikipedia. One has to distinguish criticism from insults. Now; I pointed at a specific error in your interpretation. Instead of acknowledging or disputing it, you started a snowflake action. Good bye. You are not welcome in this page anymore. == In use tag ==

Hello {{u|Loew Galitz}}. I'm sorry if my removal of the {{tl|In use}} tag on [[Drift (data science)]] came across as rude. Hello Loew Galitz. I happened upon [[Special:Diff/1105752175|this edit summary]] and [[Special:Diff/1105774097|this comment]], which are definitely breaches of [[WP:NPA|no personal attacks]]. We can criticize edits without criticizing editors. I fully intend to {{tl|RPA}} your comment, but I wanted to give you the opportunity to strike it first. I do not think an apology would be amiss, either. Even if you did not intend to insult anyone, it reads like one to an outsider.
