AfD for Space Preservation Treaty

Referring to this AfD I'd like to suggest a deletion review.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Space_Preservation_Treaty

It is a notable space treaty and not the same thing as the Outer Space Treaty.

http://www.politicsoftrust.net/dmsfiles/digitallibrary/Space%20Preservation%20Treaty%5B132%5D.pdf

Many articles in wikipedia link to it, and for instance here is an article that links to it and to the OST as separate treaties, but when you follow the links you end on the same page:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Militarisation_of_space#Space_Preservation_Treaty

It is a proposed treaty only. The US has consistently resisted signing it and that is the main obstacle preventing it from getting ratified.

It is still notable for this reason just as the Moon Treaty is notable. Definitely needs a separate article.

The existing article was short and inadequate, and it is no wonder the AfD came to the conclusion it is probably not a real treaty. I'm willing to do some work to improve it. Robert Walker (talk) 15:18, 14 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Doctor Who Story Chronology

Hi there! I'm currently doing some research into Doctor Who related spin-off media, and came across a very, VERY useful page. Unfortunately, it seems to have been deleted at some point in late 2011. The only version I've come across is from 2010, and while this has been a great resource to me, ideally I'd like to view the 2011 as the slightly more up-to-date information contained within would come in very handy for me. Do you know what I would have to do in order to obtain the last incarnation of the page before its deletion? Thank you so much for your time. 2.24.67.239 (talk) 12:31, 25 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Wikipedia:BLESSMEFATHERFORIHAVESINNED, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

this redirect has nothing to do with the article that it is redirected to. The redirect is not helpful and is a violation of WP:R3

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. 155blue (talk) 20:29, 2 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Bleed from Within

Hello, a few years ago you deleted the wikipedia article for Bleed from Within. A band which I recently have created a wikipedia article for which passes notability. But I would like to turn it into a redirect but it is locked from editing. Could you possible help me out? Jonjonjohny (talk) 21:21, 2 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Jonjonjohny: Ritzman has been inactive for over a month and a half, however I have created the redirect for you.--Launchballer 18:52, 21 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Launchballer:Thank you for helping. Jonjonjohny (talk) 19:17, 21 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Just a courtesy message to say you deleted this article on the Millionaire winner; it is now a disambiguation page.--Launchballer 11:11, 21 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Is there a reason why the redirect page has a higher level of protection than the article itself? Like, things have changed since then, or the article was improperly created? Jim.henderson (talk) 00:54, 6 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Ritzman is no longer active, but I have requested page unprotection here for you.--Launchballer 07:26, 6 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Done I still pop up every once in a while but real life currently doesn't leave me time to be active :( --Ron Ritzman (talk) 13:13, 6 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I hope it's not too much of an issue but I've just been deferring messages in your absence. (I want to be an administrator and this gives me a bit of practice.)--Launchballer 17:04, 6 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

My wiki entry has been deleted!

Hi, I just noticed my wiki page has been deleted... I don't know who put it up in the first place, so I'm just curious as to why it should be taken down after all this time? Thanks David Bascombe — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2.122.165.70 (talk) 12:24, 14 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Ritzman is not currently very active, so I am answering this on his behalf; it was deleted by consensus, which means no single administrator can undelete it. WP:MUSICBIO says nothing about producers so I will be submitting the article for deletion review.--Launchballer 14:27, 14 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding article deletion

Question: I'd like to ask about the interpretation of WP:BIO in regards to Robert Uhlmann (media executive) and SmartSE's observation regarding the validity and available sources. Based on WP:BIO he should rather be classified as a WP:CREATIVE since he has been credited for music and/or writing for a writer for 25 songs [1], is credited for three singles featured on the album Rice & Curry that topped the Swedish chart and came second on the Norwegian and Finnish charts 1998[2] and also co-produced the Swedish entry to the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2010 "Allt jag vill ha" that was performed by Josefine Ridell.[3][4][5] Should he be listed as a producer/song writer according to WP:COMPOSER instead?--Rutberg (talk) 14:48, 9 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Ritzman is not currently active but as it was deleted by consensus, no single administrator can undelete it. Try deletion review.--Launchballer 17:00, 9 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for the information Launchballer I've posted a deletion review.

An editor has asked for a deletion review of Robert Uhlmann (media executive). Because you closed the deletion discussion for this page, speedily deleted it, or otherwise were interested in the page, you might want to participate in the deletion review. I noticed you deleted this article. Can you please userfy it for me and put in its history. I would like to take on this article as a subject. Thank you. CrazyAces489 (talk) 20:58, 28 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

William Byron Webster

I'm surprised that the (proposed?) entry on this social activist and (especially) composer might be deleted. Surely the World Premiere, given in such an extraordinary venue and personally introduced by one of France's best-known political figures is already a remarkable achievement, to say nothing of the fact that the event was pretty well covered in the media (The Dial, San José Mercury News, The Daily News, a number of other things online and no doubt others I don't know about). And I believe other musical compositions have been broadcast in the San Francisco Bay area regularly for many years, and even, a little, in France and Israel. It's a pity that the person writing the article doesn't put that information in.Toule9 (talk) 18:26, 22 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

List of songs recorded by Kesha - revival

I noticed you deleted this page back in April, when she had only released one album, one EP and one remix album, but you should consider that now, she has released an album and an EP, and most of the unreleased songs can easily be referenced, and your argument of the majority of her output as a recording artist being available on her discography is now invalid as she has only released 3 singles out of a possible 24 tracks, so the need for this article has increased, so if you can fix this, I'd be grateful ... — Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.19.13.93 (talk) 21:05, 3 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Ron

You deleted the we are the freaks page. The film is currently on general release in the uk and someone -not sure who- has set up a new page, but the link from my profile page goes to the page you deleted. Can this be changed or the two pages amalgamated?

Many thanks

Justin Edgar — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.140.250.136 (talk) 00:03, 3 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Ritzman is inactive, so I'm answering this on his behalf: We Are the Freaks was created by Cap10xb1s. I've just proposed it for deletion because it doesn't contain any reliable references. I've put "We are the freaks" into the search engine and it comes up with Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/We are The Freaks (film), which tells me you are a sockpuppet of 104 films and thus you have a conflict of interest, which means you are strongly discouraged from editing about it.--Launchballer 09:44, 3 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Quaternary prevention

Thanks for tagging quaternary prevention for possible copyright violation. I was about to delete the offending parts, but I was having trouble quickly identifying which parts exactly those are.
