Removed self-reference on function

[edit]

Just wanted to drop you a quick courtesy note to let you know I reverted your addition of the User:Func disambiguation link to the function article. For my rationale, see Talk:Function#Reverting self-reference. If you disagree, we can discuss it there. Thanks! —Caesura(t) 18:57, 6 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Stable versions

[edit]

I don't understand what you did by voting against Wikipedia for stable versions, editing the article by adding a misspelled link, and then nominating that different version with the misspelled link. This is never going to work if you fiddle the article and require a new vote each time. I thought you supported your proposal. dml 16:31, 8 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Stable versions (fuller proposal)

[edit]

May I ask you to take a look at this: User:TidyCat/Achieving validation on Wikipedia? It's a fuller specification for stable versions than you have put forward so far. I would greatly appreciate any feedback you could offer. --TidyCat 08:45, 10 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Army Reserve

[edit]

The Army Reserve is a great experience. Everyone who joins up has to do the seven and half week basci recruiting at Kapooka. That involves in weapon training, physical training and heaps of First Aid. After you have completed your basic training you go back home to your home unit. Then you will be doing more training, but this time the training will be on what job you have chosen with the Army Reserve. Pay is good, as it is Tax free. If you go back to my user details on the bottom of my page there is link to my army training, so you get to see what is all involved. Here is my email andreas.ullrich@gmail.com if you want to talk more about it. Andreasu 09:28, 28 January 2006 (UTC))[reply]

The "Stable" versions

[edit]

Honestly, I'd take it up on one of the administrator noticeboards or with Jimbo himself. I don't feel like I'm qualified to decide one way or another on that one given it's unique nature. My gut says no but I see both sides.I'd bring it up at WP:AN or WP:AN/I. --Woohookitty(cat scratches) 12:27, 10 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

What I mean is that this would be a precedent setting decision and I don't think one admin or 2 or 3 should decide that, espcially given how high profile Wikipedia 1.0 is going to become. Hope it makes sense. --Woohookitty(cat scratches) 12:31, 10 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
