Lieutenant General Zhang Jingwu

Zhang Jingwu (Chinese: 张经武) (September 3, 1906 – October 27, 1971) was a lieutenant general of the People's Liberation Army and People's Republic of China politician. He was born in Hunan Province and his birth name was Zhang Renshan (Chinese: 张仁山). He and Zhang Guohua chaired the CCP Tibet Work Committee in 1951.[1] Zhang Jingwu was Chinese Communist Party Committee Secretary of Tibet Autonomous Region from March 1952 to September 1965.
