Zoaga is a department or commune of Boulgou Province in eastern Burkina Faso. Its capital lies at the town of Zoaga.

According to the 2019 census the department has a total population of 13,233.[2]

48.8% of the population is male and 51.2% of the population is female. 44.4% of the population is under the age of 15, 49.7% is 15 to 64 years old. Only 5.8% of the population is 65 years or older.[2]
