Delete - As I mentioned on the talk page, this article is an extreme POV take on the affair. Some cleaned up version of this content can be added to Srinagar (Lok Sabha constituency) by-election, 2017 but there is absolutely no need for a separate article. -- Kautilya3 (talk) 18:32, 10 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Keep, It is not a content fork, it was created first. Also it is notable event as it was first time in history of the world and India that people were killed on the day of Democratic election. So it should have separate article. I don't see any mention of target killings in the article, it is mentioned that the bullets were returned on protesters. You should open and read the page on WP:CONTENTFORK. A content fork is the creation of multiple separate articles (or passages within articles) all treating the same subject. The article was created by you on 9 April.[1] The content on this subject was summarized in the unrest article on 11 April,[2] after the creation of this article, and not by you. You did not bother to summarize about this anywhere before/after your creation of this fork.
