Kanye West studio albums (3rd supplementary nomination)

[edit]

This topic is already featured. It is being re-nominated to add additional items. See Wikipedia talk:Featured topics/Kanye West studio albums for discussions of the topic's previous nominations. The additional items are:

  1. Vultures 2

Literally only two months after the release of Vultures 2, I have now brought it to GA status and well outpaced the retention period for this GAN! The album is a worthy addition as the second collaborative effort between Kanye West and Ty Dolla Sign, or should I say ¥$, and it was more stable than Vultures 1 so that helped become a GA sooner and let's see if it can become an addition now. --K. Peake 08:23, 8 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

1989 (album) (4th supplementary nomination)

[edit]

This topic is already featured. It is being re-nominated to add additional items. See Wikipedia talk:Featured topics/1989 (album) for discussions of the topic's previous nominations. The additional items are:

  1. I Wish You Would
  2. All You Had to Do Was Stay
  3. I Know Places
  4. How You Get the Girl

i created the article for i wish you would, and promoted it to ga status. fortunately, it still has the required amount of featured articles for this ft to remain as a featured topic. yay brachy08 (chat here lol) 02:03, 4 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

  • Comment: I am curious which recent event made "I Wish You Would" suddenly notable, and why the same notability would not extend to songs like "How You Get the Girl" (whose Taylor's version charted two spots lower in Canada and nine in the US) and "I Know Places" (three spots lower in Canada and five in the US). It would be preferable not to delay those, if they are notable already, just because there aren't enough FAs for the topic to remain featured.--NØ 09:55, 8 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hold for All You Had to Do Was Stay, which was GA-nominated just five days after the nomination. I would personally like to see the other two tracks on the standard edition join the topic together in the next addition. This really does not need to go through four different addition processes.--NØ 14:28, 8 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Kanye West studio albums (2nd supplementary nomination)

[edit]

This topic is already featured. It is being re-nominated to add additional items. See Wikipedia talk:Featured topics/Kanye West studio albums for discussions of the topic's previous nominations. The additional items are:

  1. Vultures 1

I have now brought West's latest collaborative effort Vultures 1 with Ty Dolla Sign to GA status just under half a year after its release, although the nomination had been initiated well within the retention period! Having gone number one in multiple countries, the album is a worthy addition to the topic (shout out ULPS for working with me on the article) however I would like to check in retrospect with comments below is there a consensus if Donda 2 should still be included after West revealed it was a demo album? --K. Jesus Is King (1st supplementary nomination)

[edit]

This topic is already featured. It is being re-nominated to add additional items. See Wikipedia talk:Featured topics/Jesus Is King for discussions of the topic's previous nominations. The additional items are:

  1. "God Is"
Contributor(s): K. Peake, Nice4What

After doing more research around four and a half years following the release of Jesus Is King, I managed to find enough sourcing to make an article for "God Is" and have brought it to GA status already to be added to the album's topic now the song is no longer a mere redirect! --K. Taylor Swift original studio albums (1st supplementary nomination)

1989 (album) (3rd supplementary nomination)

[edit]

This topic is already featured. It is being re-nominated to add additional items. See Wikipedia talk:Featured topics/1989 (album) for discussions of the topic's previous nominations. The additional items are:

  1. You Are in Love

The article "You Are in Love" was created by Brachy0008 and promoted to GA. Fortunately, the ratio of Featured articles to Overall articles still satisfies the criteria for an FT! Ippantekina (talk) 04:52, 14 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Music of the Final Fantasy series (6th supplementary nomination)

[edit]

Final Fantasy is a media franchise created by Hironobu Sakaguchi and owned by Square Enix that includes video games, motion pictures, and other merchandise. The series began in 1987 as an eponymous role-playing video game developed by Square, spawning a video game series that became the central focus of the franchise. The music of the Final Fantasy series refers to the soundtracks of the Final Fantasy series of video games, as well as the surrounding medley of soundtrack, arranged, and compilation albums. The franchise includes a main series of numbered games as well as several spin-off series such as Crystal Chronicles and the Final Fantasy Tactics series.

This topic is already featured. It is being re-nominated to add additional items. See Wikipedia talk:Featured topics/Music of the Final Fantasy series for discussions of the topic's previous nominations. The additional items are:

  1. Music of Final Fantasy XVI

Now that Music of Final Fantasy XVI has successfully passed GAN, I'm nominating it as a GT addition to maintain the GT for the series music. --ProtoDrake (talk) 13:35, 22 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

  • Added one based on the lede of the main article. Guess this wasn't a requirement back in 2009 for the original nomination. Feel free to change it however you want, ProtoDrake. --PresN 01:14, 28 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support Also pretty self-explanatory and an impressive feat.

This topic is already featured. It is being re-nominated to add additional items. See Wikipedia talk:Featured topics/1989 (album) for discussions of the topic's previous nominations. The additional items are:

  1. Clean (song)
  2. 1989 (Taylor's Version)

With the newly-promoted FA Welcome to New York (song) and two newly-created GAs Clean (song) and 1989 (Taylor's Version), this topic fortunately still satisfies the criteria of a Featured Topic, so here's the second addition nomination to formalize the inclusion of two new articles. Cheers, Ippantekina (talk) 02:27, 6 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

  • Support. All the articles look very good and well-defined.
Gained (talk) 11:33, 23 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support: I do understand the rationale for the oppose arguments, but I believe 1989 and the re-recording are separate enough to warrant separate topics. Having a separate topic for the re-recording with the songs released specifically on that album makes the most sense to me as I think combining everything together could be potentially misleading. Final Fantasy series (1st supplementary nomination)

[edit]

This topic is already featured. It is being re-nominated to add additional items. See Wikipedia talk:Featured topics/Final Fantasy series for discussions of the topic's previous nominations. The additional items are:

  1. Final Fantasy XVI

Contributor(s): ProtoDrake

This featured topic was successfully renominated in 2018 after Final Fantasy XV was brought up to GAN. Now, following a question about the topic's validity due to Final Fantasy XVI not being a GA after three months following release, it has been successfully brought through the GAN process. This nomination is to re-complete the topic, which has seen recent maintenance from various editors across the Video Game and Square Enix WikiProjects. Thank you to all who decide to weigh in on this. --ProtoDrake (talk) 21:27, 21 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

This topic is already featured. It is being re-nominated to add additional items. See Wikipedia talk:Featured topics/Nebula Award for discussions of the topic's previous nominations. The additional items are:

  1. Nebula Award for Best Game Writing
  2. Andre Norton Award
  3. Ray Bradbury Award

This topic was made back in 2012 when I got the main article and (then) five categories up to GA/FL. Since then, two changes to the awards were made in 2019, which never got reflected in the topic: a category on Game Writing got added (FL'd this year), and the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers Association retroactively made the Andre Norton Award (FL 2012) and Ray Bradbury Award (FL 2020) official categories instead of the "other awards given at the same event" status that they had. Somehow I completely missed that the topic was getting out of date, so I'm fixing that now. I actively maintain this articles, so the topic should be good to go. --PresN 14:07, 25 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
