- yes, that would have to be discussed in a separate thread, but adding three redlinks and a link to an off-topic article about Dominion doesn't help. Frietjes (talk) 19:06, 14 June 2013 (UTC)
- I guess I gave Opthosomething the go ahead due to links to band members (4 living, 1 deceased) plus 1 album. 6 links, so passed WP:NENAN (I wasn't trying to TfD as many Jax-templates as possible.) The Banner talk 20:40, 18 June 2013 (UTC)

There aren't enough articles on the band or anything related to them to warrant a navbox. I also created a discography page to contain the band's albums which, having done the research on them, strike me as warranting coverage on Wikipedia but not in their own articles as they would remain permanently small. LazyBastardGuy 21:31, 12 June 2013 (UTC)
- Does it harm anything to have the template present? The band might be small, but if there is no harm in keeping the template present, I don't see why it should be deleted. Moreover, the question is, why does a band need to be large to warrant a navbox? atallcostsky talk 21:46, 12 June 2013 (UTC)
- It's not a matter of the band's size, popularity or whatever else; it's a matter of what's actually available on them and what we can say about them on Wikipedia. In this case, the band very rarely speak directly about the songs on the albums, and their lack of lyrics leaves even less to be said about them. Consequently, it made no sense to have individual articles that would remain so small forever; I decided to merge them into one article, and what good would a list of links all going to the same place be in that case? A navbox doesn't list a band's discography; it lists articles relevant to their discussion to make it easier to find those articles. If STS ever had more than one of these articles (given their prolific output and article size limitations on Wikipedia, I would deem that likely), we might then make a new navbox for the template. At the moment, that is not the case. LazyBastardGuy 00:33, 13 June 2013 (UTC)
- Trust me, I am a big fan of these guys, but I can't let my personal opinion on their work influence my decision here. It's not a question of worth but practicality; does it aid in covering a musical artist to have this collated list of articles relevant to the subject at hand? LazyBastardGuy 19:25, 13 June 2013 (UTC)
- someone will probably send you to the essay WP:NENAN. you may also be interested in searching for all discussions with that keyword at WP:TFD (you will find a load of them, e.g. even one on this page). basically, the feeling is that we don't need a navigation box if it doesn't connect a minimum number of articles. the precise number is debatable, but if all the links redirect to one of two pages, that probably isn't enough articles being connected. Frietjes (talk) 22:03, 12 June 2013 (UTC)

- Delete It all comes down to aiding in navigation. Since you can link to and from each article to every other article within the navbox, there's no additional aid in having a navbox on those same articles. With the albums merged to a single discography, that is the case here. --StarcheerspeaksnewslostwarsTalk to me 22:27, 12 June 2013 (UTC)
- Delete. This is a pointless navbox. The 4 links to albums are all redirects to the discography, and we don't need a navbox when one link would do. --BrownHairedGirl (talk) • (contribs) 10:47, 13 June 2013 (UTC)

- Template:Unknownflag (talk · history · transclusions · logs · subpages)
We have consensus (from Village Pump? I can't remember) to not use question mark placeholders for images. In this case, the question mark icon is in the context of a flag icon, and WP:Manual of Style/Icons also discourages the use of invented icons as a substitute for real flags. See WP:Templates for discussion/Log/2013 May 8#Template:Country data Unknown for a recent discussion about a similar template. {{Noflag}} is the preferred solution when a flag icon is not available. — Andrwsc (talk · contribs) 16:52, 12 June 2013 (UTC)

- Procedural keep with no prejudice to the templates being re-nominated in the near future. The nominator has gone about this the wrong way, he has bundled far too many templates, of numerous different tournaments, together and it is near-impossible to properly look into their merits (or lack thereof). I suggest this be closed and the nominator bring them all back to TFD over time, in smaller and better-organised bundles. GiantSnowman 10:30, 13 June 2013 (UTC)
- procedural keep, agree with GiantSnowman, take a well-defined subset (e.g., all the U-16s) and nominate those in a bundle. Frietjes (talk) 15:13, 13 June 2013 (UTC)

- Reply @Frietjes. Oppose proposed reformatting. Shiner_(band)#Discography lists only 4 articles on recordings, so there is not enough ti justify a navbox for that band. Two of the existing articles appear to be about non-notable albums: Starless (album) and Lula Divinia. --BrownHairedGirl (talk) • (contribs) 10:44, 13 June 2013 (UTC)
- yes, I agree this time, since the recordings are connected through the previous and next links in the album navbox, and there is only one band member with an article. I try not to speculate about the notability of the linked articles, since prod/AfD would come first, and then deletion here would be a no-brainer. as I am sure you have noticed not everyone agrees with the threshold. without having a clear policy the ones that are kept/deleted will be somewhat arbitrary near the borderline. - Template:Administrative divisions of AR of Abkhazia (talk · history · transclusions · logs · subpages)
This is almost exactly a duplication of Template:Administrative divisions of the Republic of Abkhazia. The only difference, besides the spelling of names (which should really use whatever the article titles are - haven't checked to see which template matches more), is that this template lacks Tquarchal District. One difference should not result in the placing of what are essentially two identical templates on every page. CMD (talk) 17:17, 4 June 2013 (UTC)
- keep Excuse me, but there is no template about Administrative divisions of AR of Abkhazia and what we must to do? Administrative divisions of the Republic of Abkhazia and Administrative divisions of AR of Abkhazia are different. If you want to delete this then you must to make some corrections in the Template:Administrative divisions of the Republic of Abkhazia because it doesn't gives de jure Abkhazia's information. Also flag-map of the "Rep. Abkhazia" must be removed.--Balakhadze ႫႨႼႤႰႠ 17:58, 4 June 2013 (UTC)
- Likely there isn't a template for those divisions because there is no need for it, none of the autonomous republic's administrative divisions are actually in effect. - Comment (nom) WP:Official names is not a good justification to create a duplicate template; such a suggestion runs counter to our longstanding article titling policies. CMD (talk) 14:24, 12 June 2013 (UTC)
- Comment (nom) Just found that there's also Template:Districts of Georgia, which covers the districts, Template:Cities and towns in Georgia (country) which covers the major settlements, which this template is also partially redundant to, and which completely covers the Tquarchal District dispute. CMD (talk) 18:38, 18 June 2013 (UTC)
- The proposed use of this template is putting it into articles of Abkhazian subdivisions and localities, which will mean that there will be 2 almost identical templates (the one in question and Template:Administrative divisions of the Republic of Abkhazia). If we deal with Tkvarcheli district issue with a footnote, then the only new information is Georgian toponyms. Then we would have to add Abkhaz names as well, because in the current template the most common names, and not Abkhaz ones are used (Sukhumi and not Aqua, New Athos and not Chyts Afon). Putting so many names would defy the purpose of template, so we should not go this way at all and stay with current concise template where NPOV names are used. Therefore, delete. Alæxis¿question? 06:52, 20 June 2013 (UTC)
- delete as redundant linking. if you need to have duplicate names, then simply add them in parenthesis to Template:Administrative divisions of Abkhazia. the link convention should be based on the common name used in English with additional alternative names if they are common. we don't need to fork a template just to have alternative names. Frietjes (talk) 18:40, 23 June 2013 (UTC)
- delete it just wastes pixels to have two virtually identical templates on each page. A footnote and appropriate title indicating both names and flags is fine. Also a simple outline map with no super-imposed flag, would be fine for the image.--Salix (talk): 13:57, 28 June 2013 (UTC)

This is not a template, it's a subpage of a template that was part of a failed experiment. (See Template talk:Infobox Australian road). As I was the only editor of this page and a related group of subpages that were also part of the failed experiment, I was going to tag it with {{db-author}} as neither this or the subpages were needed any longer. Unfortunately, another editor has rushed in and made unnecessary edits to the page so {{db-author}} is no longer appropriate, but the page still needs to be deleted.
