I am going through related category and I noticed many countries have entries on this, but Germany is missing. Maybe someone could at least stub it? @Daranios? Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 10:59, 1 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Piotrus: We do have German science fiction literature. —Kusma (talk) 08:22, 2 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Kusma Thanks. It might be good for temporary redirect, but it is, at the end of the day, only a subtopic (since the proper treatment should discuss other media - film, tv, video games, etc.). Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 01:30, 3 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
PS. Actually, that article mentions, if briefly, films too. I think it should be renamed to just German science fiction, I'll start a RM there. Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 01:31, 3 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Women in Green's October 2024 edit-a-thon

[edit]

Hello WikiProject Germany:

WikiProject Women in Green is holding a month-long Good Article Edit-a-thon event in October 2024!

Running from October 1 to 31, 2024, WikiProject Women in Green (WiG) is hosting a Good Article (GA) edit-a-thon event with the theme Around the World in 31 Days! All experience levels welcome. Never worked on a GA project before? We'll teach you how to get started. Or maybe you're an old hand at GAs – we'd love to have you involved! Participants are invited to work on nominating and/or reviewing GA submissions related to women and women's works (e.g., books, films) during the event period. We hope to collectively cover article subjects from at least 31 countries (or broader international articles) by month's end. GA resources and one-on-one support will be provided by experienced GA editors, and participants will have the opportunity to earn a special WiG barnstar for their efforts.

We hope to see you there!

Württemberg article

[edit]

What is the point of the separate Württemberg article? Its content is pretty close to that of Württemberg (disambiguation). Shouldn't we just redirect? Marcocapelle (talk) 07:22, 28 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Marcocapelle The links in Württemberg are presented in prose and not necessarily list format, while Württemberg (disambiguation) has some slightly additional stuff. Would keep them separate, but wouldn't oppose if you merged them. ~ 🦝 Shushugah (he/him • talk) 08:36, 30 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
The article Württemberg has some minimal amount of useful information. Useful information is generally discouraged on disambiguation pages, so it is better to have a separate set index article about all of the Württembergs (it could even be fleshed out a bit). —Kusma (talk) 08:47, 30 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi WikiProject Germany, I’d like to invite anyone interested to join the WikiProject Unreferenced Articles #NOV24 Backlog Drive. Germany-related articles are one of the largest groups of unreferenced articles, constituting about about 1 in 20 of all the unreferenced articles on English Wikipedia. This drive is a great chance to help improve them together. (About half of these are bodies of water, in case that's your thing!) You can see a list of unreferenced Germany-related articles here. The drive runs through November, and any help adding reliable sources is welcome—whether you add one source or tackle several articles. Vielen Dank im Voraus!
