Welcome to Wikipedia. Because we have a policy against usernames which give the impression that the account represents a group, club, organization, company, or website – I have blocked this account. Please take a moment to either create a new account, or request a change of username of your current account here. The new username must represent only yourself as an individual and comply with Wikipedia's username policy.

You should also read our conflict of interest guideline and be aware that promotional editing is not acceptable regardless of the username you choose. Additionally, if your contributions to Wikipedia form all or part of work for which you are, or expect to be, paid, you must disclose who is paying you to edit.

Please also note that you are permitted to use a username that contains the name of a company or organization if it identifies you individually, such as "Sara Smith at XYZ Company", "Mark at WidgetsUSA", or "FoobarFan87".

If your username does not represent a group, organization or website, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of your talk page.

You may simply create a new account, but you may prefer to change your username to one that complies with our username policy, so that your past contributions are associated with your new username. If you would prefer to change your username, you may appeal this username block by adding the text

{{unblock-un|new username|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}

at the bottom of your talk page. Please note that you may only request a name that is not already in use, so please check here for a listing of already taken names.

 Thank you. Alexf(talk) 21:54, 9 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I am paid by Monash but I'm not trying to be promotional. I will happily get someone to write the content, its currently inaccurate about the University as there are 10 Faculties and the Faculty of IT is not included which makes the Monash Page incorrect CMonash (talk) 23:31, 30 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

While you will need to declare as a paid editor("Paid editing" is not limited to specific payment for editing or marketing) and review conflict of interest, this block is only for your username. All that is needed to get the block removed is for your to propose a new username as instructed. If you don't care about preserving your edit history, you are also welcome to create a new account with a proper username. 331dot (talk) 07:58, 31 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

I have moved your unblock request to the bottom of the page. Please place new postings at the bottom, to preserve the correct chronological order of discussions. An administrator will evaluate your unblock request when they are able. --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 05:38, 31 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
