Why is the four-season milestone so big?

[edit]

I've reverted edits you've made to a number of articles where you've indicated that a series has made it four seasons as a Disney Channel original. Why is that a significant milestone? It seems like trivia, and Wikipedia is not a collection of trivia. If you want it to stand, you'll need to explain why it's significant. —C.Fred (talk) 01:35, 11 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Your username

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that your username, "DisneyChannel1983", may not comply with our username policy. Please note that you may not use a username that represents the name of a company, group, organization, product, or website. Examples of usernames that are not allowed include "XYZ Company", "MyWidgetsUSA.com", and "Foobar Museum of Art". However, you are invited to use a username that contains such a name if it identifies you personally, such as "Jack Smith at XYZ Company", "Mark at WidgetsUSA", or "FoobarFan87".

Please also note that Wikipedia does not allow accounts to be shared by multiple people, and that you may not advocate for or promote any company, group, organization, product, or website, regardless of your username. Moreover, I recommend that you read our conflict of interest guideline. If you are a single individual and are willing to contribute to Wikipedia in an unbiased manner, please create a new account or request a change of username, by completing this form, that complies with our username policy. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. Thank you. Amccann421 (talk) 03:32, 11 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to use disruptive, inappropriate or hard-to-read formatting, you may be blocked from editing. There is a Wikipedia Manual of Style, and edits should not deliberately go against it without special reason. – Sabbatino (talk) 16:34, 19 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you make disruptive edits to Wikipedia contrary to the Manual of Style, as you did at List of Strike Witches episodes. Lord Sjones23 (talk - contributions) 15:30, 28 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Because we have a policy against usernames which give the impression that the account represents a group, organization or website, I have blocked this account; please take a moment to create a new account with a username that represents only yourself as an individual and which complies with our username policy or request a change of username.

You should also read our conflict of interest guideline and be aware that promotional editing is not acceptable regardless of the username you choose.

If your username does not represent a group, organization or website, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of your talk page.

You may simply create a new account, but you may prefer to change your username to one that complies with our username policy, so that your past contributions are associated with your new username. If you would prefer to change your username, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock-un|new username|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of your talk page. Thank you. ~ Rob13Talk 23:18, 18 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

  • Given your sockpuppetry, documented at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet_investigations/DisneyChannel1983, you may not create a new account. If you would like to request a change of username, use the unblock text listed above and an admin will process it. I encourage administrators who may review such a request to wait a week from this date before unblocking, as I would normally have placed a hard block for a week based on the sockpuppetry. ~ Rob13Talk 23:22, 18 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom Elections 2016: Voting now open!

[edit]

Hello, DisneyChannel1983. Voting in the 2016 Arbitration Committee elections is open from Monday, 00:00, 21 November through Sunday, 23:59, 4 December to all unblocked users who have registered an account before Wednesday, 00:00, 28 October 2016 and have made at least 150 mainspace edits before Sunday, 00:00, 1 November 2016.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2016 election, please review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 22:08, 21 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
