Spelling
editWhy is it Makapuu Point Light but Makapu'u Point? At which point along the way did the apostrophe get lost? Shouldn't this be consistent at least within Wikipedia? --87.150.1.103 (talk) 16:12, 4 February 2019 (UTC)
Travel guide
editFootnote A provides purely travel guide style information. As we all know, Wikipedia is not meant to be a travel guide. Any objections to getting rid of that footnote? --87.150.1.103 (talk) 16:18, 4 February 2019 (UTC)
- It's accurate, and relegated to a footnote. So I object. 7&6=thirteen (☎) 17:37, 4 February 2019 (UTC)
Access section
editI removed the access section as a clear violation of WP:NOTTRAVELGUIDE. We don't need it for "contextualization" as that is covered in the history section. The only thing I would support including is something along the lines of "The lighthouse is accessed by a 2.4-mile trail". Anything more belongs on Wikivoyage.--Jasper Deng (talk) 04:05, 8 August 2019 (UTC)
