Unreliable sources

edit

@AndyTheGrump, can you specify which sources may not be reliable? Jacob0790 (talk) 18:02, 2 September 2024 (UTC)Reply

These two for a start, as the most obvious:
[1] Marketing "ACG is the premier M&A deal-making community with a mission of driving middle-market growth".
[2] Marketing: "Mobile World Live amplifies your brand and message to the right audience." [3]
Beyond that, essentially every article cited consists of nothing of significance beyond what Dukhovny has to say about himself, and about his project. Per policy, Wikipedia bases content on what independent sources have to say about the subject, not on what he has to say about himself. Lacking such in-depth independent coverage, the article is nothing but promotion. AndyTheGrump (talk) 18:17, 2 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
To add to the above, the CNET source [4] cited for the claim that a 'flying prototype' was unveiled in 2022 clearly cannopt be relied on, given that multiple other sources described the thing shown as a non-flying mockup. Feel free to discuss it at WP:RSN if you want to dispute this. AndyTheGrump (talk) 18:30, 2 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
Given the lack of response here (not that there really is one), I've now removed the promotional content cited to these sources. AndyTheGrump (talk) 12:01, 5 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
