The Institut National d'Optique (INO), National Optics Institute, is a Quebec based private corporation founded in 1985. Its primary stated mission is to facilitate research transfers to companies. In association with the nearby Université Laval, new research programs creates applications such as imaging, lasers, optic fibers and optical physics. They are also a licensed Microbolometer manufacturer.
