LowRISC is a non-profit open hardware organization that aims to develop open hardware.[1][2] As of 2016[update], the LowRISC system on a chip was still in development.[3] LowRISC is intended to be a RISC-V 64-bit SoC that can run Linux, but it lacks a GPU.[4][1] The project is being led by Robert Mullins and receives support from the University of Cambridge.[3][1]
