Sumo robots are built from scratch, from kits or from [[Lego]] components, particularly the [[Lego Mindstorms]] sets.
But some people like to use other building materials like aluminum or metal that could be more expensive than lego and heavier but that will help by making the robot harder to push.
Building a robot-sumo could be some times expensive depending on what you focus more on Esthetics or Practaclity, you will from 200 to 500 dollars building one.
