The earliest known releases by Rubin Mitchell was on Starmaker Records, a Jazz Label from [[New York City]]. First releasing two 7" singles ("Li'l Liza Jane" and "Dardanella") followed by a full-length album ("The Golden Hands Of Rubin Mitchell").
