No action is needed here, I'm simply filing this for archiving purposes in case this user data is needed in future sockchecks. The user began by restoring, in the article about [[Global Television Network]], an extended ownership history of Canada's entire telecommunications satellite infrastructure all the way up to the present day — content which was originally added by other socks of Johnwest1999, and has been removed each time as not particularly relevant to the history of the Global Television Network. After the IP editwarred over its removal a couple of times, I sprotted the article — following which the newly registered Jw99clevelandreturns posted to my talk page, threatening to hack my account if I didn't let them restore that content, following which they really did attempt to hack me. (I've got a very solid, complex password, however, so I'm in no danger.) I've already blocked the new username for inappropriate behaviour, and between the content and the "Jw99" part of the username the linkage isn't in doubt at all, so no further action is necessary at this time — I just wanted the username recordedplaced on the record as part of this user's SPI history, so that if yet another sockpuppet emerges in the future this username will be available for comparison.
