[[Geodynamics_of_Venus#Resurfacing_hypotheses]] says "This is effectively a uniformitarian hypothesis as it assumes that geologic activity is occurring everywhere at similar rates." That is not what [[uniformitarianism]] means. It means activity is uniform over time; that is the whole point of the historical debate over terrestrial uniformitarianism.
