It's not the fact that the website has no copyright, we can see that is the case. It's the fact that by copying pretty much the entire page straight from the site, you are committing Plagiarism. If you wish to write an article about this person, it must conform to our policy on Biographies of Living People and you must write it from your own words, not by using the content of a webpage someone else has prepared.

Thanks. The image is in my legal possession, I can take responsibility for it. It's been donated to me by a friend who shot it at a conference in Albania, in which I was a speaker. I can't reach oout to the person for a statement, I can only take responsibility for ownership of the picture.

it was removed because I tried to change it with a more updated one, and the updated photo was removed for unknown reasons. So neither is now online. Please restore the old one, which will then stay on for ever, if it's so complicated to replace it.

this picture has been there, documenting the recent appearance of Alessandro Ferrara

I've been freely given it 5 years ago by the occasional photographer who shot it on the occasion of a conference, I can guarantee that there is no infringement of copyright or anything of the sort.

It updates a previous photograph of 2008 which became too outdated.

Please leave as is and if someone ever complains I'll respond to the person.

Hello, Sanfr53. I noticed that your recent edit to Alessandro Ferrara added a link to an image on an external website or on your computer, or to a file name that does not exist on Wikipedia's server. For technical and policy reasons it is not possible to use images from external sources on Wikipedia. Most images you find on the internet are copyrighted and cannot be used on Wikipedia, or their use is subject to certain restrictions. Thanks for your feedback. I'm desperate to get through the maze of these regulations in order to upload a picture! Now I secured a CC License, as required, the picture is my property,. So I tried the standard template

“I personally created this media. All identifiable persons shown specifically consented to publication of this photograph or video”.

Then it didn't pass review, so I obtained a CC License. What else should I do to get this picture to stay on? These rules are utterly incomprehensible. Please tell me what to do?
