Question: does fastp do quality trimming first or adapter trimming first #204

Hi

I have a question: when used with default options, does Fastp do quality trimming first before adapter trimming or vice-versa?

Based on Figure 1 of this paper, it looks to me as though quality trimming is done before adapter trimming, but I could be wrong.

Thanks for the link @sklages

It is still not clear if adapter trimming happens first or quality trimming
