[Bug] Luigis Mansion 2 HD shows Grid Lines of Models when exposed to shadows from lights #6987

Description of the issue

Models exposed to shadows that are cast because of (dynamic) lights show their vertices grid lines

Reproduction steps

Start The Game and watch the Intro cutscene
Get the E. Gadd's Lab
Optionally you can use your flashlight in the first level to observe this bug on some models

@samuscero no issue on rdna2 on arch, disable upscaling or mods and also try mesa git

Same issue as first post. Some sort of wireframe shows under certain shadows. Mainly noticeable on Luigi character.

I was able to partially reproduce the issue. from what i can tell, its caused by running fsr with fxaa or smaa which are both unsupported with fsr as stated by the instruction popup when selecting your filter. use bi-linear or nearest instead.

happens regardless i have fsr on but no AA

It didn't fix it for me either. I tried no anti-aliasing and bilinear/nearest.

image These are my settings. i had only been able to reproduce this issue when running fsr. i dont believe this would make any difference but i am also running the lod and global illumination patch (https://gamebanana.com/mods/524124) along with 60fps patch (https://gamebanana.com/mods/524180)

Changing to OpenGL is not a ideal solution to the issue as AMD is way slower on OpenGL than NVIDIA
OpenGL is only viable on linux because mesa exists but it's still not ideal

@piplup55 I have already played in rog ally and legion go everything is perfect and with the 60fps patch
