Create3 Base Dropping Topics #41

While I have been developing on my Locobot WX200, I will sometimes see the Create3 base disappear! I have not been able to repeat reliably the circumstances, but it made me wonder: is there a way to tell the Create3 to restart its ROS2 application with some other method? Perhaps a script that sends a command to the Create3 platform? Restarting via the web server is not an option as the robot will be running headless during experiments, so I will not be able to fire up a browser. Thanks! |

Thanks for finding that link! I will test it this afternoon and see if I can make a little "emergency" script to reboot it if the topics go away. Edit: Finally had to test this out and it works! Takes a few minutes to get the robot rebooted, but it comes back up and the Create3's topics are available again. |
