Update: Database migration finished successfully.

Later today we will migrate the productive database of cla-assistant.io to a different host (Azure cosmosDB). This will result in a short period (<15min) where changes are not possible.

I expect cla-assitant.io to still report the status correctly of already signed CLAs.

Signing of CLAs and configuration of CLA-assistant won't work for this period.
I will let you know here when the activity starts exactly and when we're finished.

Migration steps:

  • Announce start of migration in issue
  • Switch to cloud run revision with read-only user (cla-assistant-production-00055-coy) (estimated time 1min)
  • Run database migration script (estimated time 9min)
  • Validate database migration (estimated time 2min)
  • Enable cloud run revision with new database connection (cla-assistant-production-00054-nup) (estimated time 1min)
  • Announce finished migration in issue
