With command gphoto2 --capture-image-and-download --filename=%s if DLSR can't get the focus, the camera hangs and doesn't repond anymore, impossible to start a new picture or live preview. Even after a reboot of the computer. I have to to turn OFF then ON the camera.
Name the camera
Canon 550d, mode P with integre flash
libgphoto2 and gphoto2 version
gphoto2 2.5.27
libgphoto2 2.5.27
libgphoto2_port 0.12.0
To Reproduce
I notice it on my photobooth (https://github.com/andi34/photobooth). It appears mostly in low light (for sure outside by nigth) when children take picture, as they are smaller, the DSLR see only the top of there head and can't get the focus (but see that there is something to shoot), so it can't take picture and retry and retry for a while...
But if there is no people in the camera field (only dark) the is no issue, the camera don't try to take picture.
