Issue to track interest in building Mobile Session Recording, i.e. the ability to record highlight.io sessions from iOS and Android.

Please react to show interest and comment w/ any thoughts/questions/suggestions.

This would be a great feature that other tools do not offer. We use expo to build our mobile apps and have a lack of visibility into them.

My application frontend is an Expo app, there is no other frontend to instrument, so this would enable me to use Highlight.

Same for me

Currently, does Highlight work with React Native and this issue only refers to a specific feature ("Session Recording")?

Highlight doesn't currently support session replay for mobile applications. We're in talks to start working on this at the beginning of the year, but no strict timeline yet unfortunately. I'll keep you all updated!

I am interested in error tracking on Android and iOS, client SDKs in Kotlin and Swift would be great!

Mobile client support is essential for software that runs on multiple platforms, otherwise error tracking is not centralized in a single service which forces you to move another error tracking service which supports multiple platforms.
