From dfae3209ebcde77a341addbb55514d8285499d73 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Solly Ross Date: Sun, 5 Feb 2017 12:34:47 -0500 Subject: [PATCH] Update tests to work with new structure This updates the tests to work with the new structure, and removes the old `utils/run_from_console.js` files in favor of just using Karma directly. The Karma debug page now displays the normal mocha HTML, so we can use that instead of the HTML generation functionality of the old test runner. Note that PhantomJS does not work at the moment (PhantomJS 1.5 should make it possible to test on PhantomJS again). --- .travis.yml | 1 - CONTRIBUTING.md | 18 +- karma.conf.js | 99 +- package.json | 15 +- tests/fake.websocket.js | 146 +- tests/karma-test-main.js | 18 + tests/run_from_console.casper.js | 114 - tests/run_from_console.js | 360 -- tests/run_from_console.zombie.js | 82 - tests/test.base64.js | 3 +- tests/test.display.js | 25 +- tests/test.helper.js | 7 +- tests/test.keyboard.js | 4 +- tests/test.rfb.js | 11 +- tests/test.util.js | 60 +- tests/test.websock.js | 10 +- vendor/sinon.js | 6463 ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ 17 files changed, 6656 insertions(+), 780 deletions(-) create mode 100644 tests/karma-test-main.js delete mode 100644 tests/run_from_console.casper.js delete mode 100755 tests/run_from_console.js delete mode 100644 tests/run_from_console.zombie.js create mode 100644 vendor/sinon.js diff --git a/.travis.yml b/.travis.yml index a7fe42330..ba5c50be8 100644 --- a/.travis.yml +++ b/.travis.yml @@ -7,7 +7,6 @@ node_js: - '6.1' env: matrix: - - TEST_BROWSER_NAME=PhantomJS - TEST_BROWSER_NAME=chrome TEST_BROWSER_OS='Windows 10,Linux,OS X 10.11' - TEST_BROWSER_NAME=firefox TEST_BROWSER_OS='Windows 10,Linux,OS X 10.11' - TEST_BROWSER_NAME='internet explorer' TEST_BROWSER_OS='Windows 10' diff --git a/CONTRIBUTING.md b/CONTRIBUTING.md index 4bcea1046..2d2e68cf4 100644 --- a/CONTRIBUTING.md +++ b/CONTRIBUTING.md @@ -35,20 +35,8 @@ Contributing Guidelines Running the unit tests ---------------------- -There are two ways to run the unit tests.
